Raised in Youngstown, OH, Benjamin began his professional career in opera at the age of 16. Benjamin completed his Bachelor's degree in Voice Performance at Anderson University, while also taking classes at Indiana University in Bloomington. Benjamin obtained his Master’s degree in voice at Roosevelt University's Chicago College of Performing Arts. His performance credits include opera, concert work, and acting.
